چکیده
Tumor vessel co-option is a crucial predictor for tumor invasiveness but easy to ignore in vascular targeting therapy. A high density of located alongside the frontier predicted tendency invasion and regional metastasis. Herein, novel second near-infrared (NIR-II) nanoagent (Coi8DFIC-sorafenib nanoparticles, CS NPs [CS NPs]) was constructed with an organic Coi8DFIC dye sorafenib, which demonstrated tissue penetration low autofluorescence, enabling imaging micrometastasis. This nanotherapeutic agent displayed considerably improved quantum yield fluorescence (0.89%), reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, fairly good biosafety vivo. Compared indocyanine green (ICG), exhibited better photostability photothermal conversion efficiency. By tracking tumor-associated vessels real-time imaging, could open/stop therapy by laser on/off. The combination disruption imaging-guided therapy/photodynamic provided win–win strategy oral squamous cell carcinoma.

Clinicopatholgic Parameters Associated With Regional Lymph Node Metastasis In Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma: A Retrospective Study
Background and Objective: Oral cancer accounts for less than 3% of all cancers. Despite recent improvement in diagnostic and treatment methods, the overall survival of the disease is unfavorable. Several studies have been performed to assess factors influencing lymph node metastasis and prognosis. The aim of this study was to evaluate some clinical and pathological factors influencing lymph ...
متن کاملThe Cancer Stem Cell Hypothesis in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma: A New Target for the Treatment
Within a single tumor clone, cells have significantly different abilities to proliferate and form new tumors. This has led to the hypothesis that most cells in a cancer have a limited ability to divide and only a small subset of distinct cells, the cancer stem cells (CSCs), has the capacity to self-renew and form new tumors . It has been proposed that the development of tumors is based exclusiv...
متن کاملAngiogenesis and Tumor-Associated Macrophages in Different Grades of Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma, Verrucous Carcinoma and Epithelial Dysplasia via Immunohistochemical Assessment of Expression of CD34 and CD68 Markers
Background:Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is the most common malignancy of the oral cavity, which is highly invasive. Verrucous carcinoma (VC) is the low-grade form of SCC. Epithelial dysplasia (ED) also has a malignant potential. This immunohistochemical (IHC) study aimed to assess angiogenesis and the presence of tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) in SCC, VC and ED to determi...
متن کاملCoexistence of Granular Cell Tumor with Squamous Cell Carcinoma on the Tongue: A Case Report
Introduction: Granular cell tumors (GCTs) are rare and mostly benign soft tissue tumors. Though they have been reported in all parts of body, they are generally located in the head and neck region, especially on the tongue. Some malign forms exist, but these have been rarely reported. Granular cell tumors have a neural origin and, in immunohistochemical evaluations, they express S-100 and neuro...
متن کاملTongue Squamous Cell Carcinoma: A Clinical Study
Background and Objectives: Squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue (SCCOT) is the most common malignant neoplasm in oral cavity. At the time of the diagnosis of SCCOT regional metastases with a high mortality rate are common, which is due to the extensive lymphatic system drainage of the tongue. Although the level of healthcare has significantly improved, the survival rate is still low with an...
